New Years Eve Wedding Photographer
Today I wanted to do a little flash back post. With New Years Eve coming up it’s got me thinking back to the fab New Years Eve weddings I’ve photographed and absolutely loved!! I love taking New Years Eve wedding photos, there’s something really special about New Years Eve weddings. It’s a hard one to explain why I love being a New Years Eve wedding photographer but I guess I just love the spirit of it. Being in your little wedding day bubble but also knowing that so many other people are also celebrating. It’s like on Christmas day when you’re sat around the table eating your Christmas dinner. You know that so many other people around the world are doing the same thing, even though it will look different for everyone, there’s just something a little bit magical about so many people doing the same thing. That’s how I feel about NYE weddings, everyone’s celebrating but in their own way.
Today I wanted to flash back to December 31st 2014 for Rebecca and Alex’s New Years Eve Wedding in Southwold. This day was pretty perfect, blue skies a light frost in the morning. Rebecca and Alex got ready together which made the day so chilled out right form the very start. I actually wrote blog post about Brides and Grooms getting ready together which you can read here. This pairs wedding ceremony started with a little film of clips of the two of them, which made perfect sense as they got married at The Electric Picture Palace, an old cinema. After the short film the two of them walked out hand in hand and stood on the stage in front of their closest friends and family and became husband and wife. After the ceremony they had afternoon tea planned at The Swan Hotel in Southwold which I’m diying to go back to. Before that though we had some time to pop to the beach for some photos which was absolutely perfect. The evening was then filled with cake (made by the wedding guests) and lots of live music!! Here are a few of the New Years Eve wedding photos that I loved from Rebecca & Alex’s day.
If you’re looking for a New Years Eve wedding photographer I’d love to hear from you and hear all your exciting plans.
