Wedding Videographers I’d Recommend

Uncategorized

I wanted to put a post together to help answer a question I get a fair bit, are there any videographers you’d recommend? I’ve had the pleasure of working with some lovely videographers but there are definitely ones I would recommend over others. Photographers and videographers are essentially there on the wedding day doing a very similar job. Obviously the end results are very different but more than likely we will want to be getting very similar moments on the day. For this reason it always helps to have a videographer and photographer who have a good working relationship. The videographers I’m recommending in this post work in a very similar way to me. We’ve all been considerate of each others space and where we need to be in order to get the shots we want for the couples without getting in each others shots. I know that not only do these guys produce beautiful videos they are also really great to work alongside!

So, the videographer I’d recommend are, Super Duper 8 Films, The Camera Chap Weddings, Anneka Ireland and W4 Wedding Films. I’ll start off with Anneka and W4 Wedding Films as they have kindly written a little bit to help give more of an insight into what they do.

Anneka Ireland

I love how confident Anneka is in what she is doing. Throughout the whole day she just seems so cool, calm and collected which is so nice to be around on a wedding day. It helps that she is also super lovely and down to earth. Anneka is definitely someone I’d be happy to have about on my wedding day.

Here is what Anneka says:

Anneka Ireland Videography is a small team of videographers based in Kent. We cover the whole of UK and abroad.

Our style is unobtrusive and natural, we film the day as it unfolds discreetly in the background without the need to set up any shots. We have a relaxed approach meaning that we can capture everything as it happens so you have a memory for the future.

Our standard package starts from 1 hour before the ceremony and finishes just after the first dance. We don’t work on set timescales as weddings can sometimes overrun. There are the options to add on preparations and extra evening coverage. Couples can also choose between two edit styles, our longer documentary edit with a short highlights or our cinematography 10 min trailer with a separate ceremony and speeches edit. We typically film with one camera operator but if couples would like enhanced coverage or have a large number of guests there is the option to include another operator.

The final film is delivered on a USB stick in full HD, there is the option to purchase DVD’s too if necessary.

W4 Wedding Films

If I had to use one word to describe these guys, it would be Stealth!! I don’t remember a single time when either one of them or their equipment were in my way, spoiling the shot. To work alongside videographers like this is a total dream and I can imagine it is equally as lovely having videographers like this to capture your wedding, where you aren’t aware of them being there.

Here’s what W4 Wedding Films say:

We are W4 Wedding Films, a husband and wife team based in Surrey and have the pleasure to work throughout the South East covering amazing weddings.

We are proud to be recommended at over 25 of the country’s leading wedding venues, including Farnham Castle, Botleys Mansion, The Waldorf Hotel London, Royal Holloway, Bingham Hotel and Cain Manor.

Our wedding films are modern and cinematic in style without distracting from the true nature of a couple’s big day. We never pose or set up shots, preferring always to let the day unfold and to capture real emotions and moments.

As a recently married couple ourselves we understand how important it is to pick a supplier whose work you really like and also who you can trust will blend in discreetly on the day.

We always personally film and edit each couple’s wedding, we don’t outsource any part of the film, in this way we can create and maintain a relationship with our couples and they can relax in the knowledge that a stranger won’t turn up on their special day!

Couples can choose a range of packages that cover various parts of the day, but of course these can be tailored and amended if needed. For most packages, couples receive their main film, a shorter highlights film, their full ceremony, speeches and first dance. This is all delivered on DVD (perfect for gifts!) and digital files on a USB so you can future proof the films and play them back on a TV or laptop. Highlights films are also made available online as a password protected link for couples to share with family and friends.

We appreciate that finding the right supplier for your wedding can be an overwhelming experience and we have lots of information on our website regarding cinematic wedding films, various edit options and of course all important examples of our work.

Thank you for taking time to read about us, we consider it a huge privilege to film such a significant day in a couple’s life. Please visit our site or get in touch if you have any questions about our videography services.

Super Duper 8 Films

Aimee and Chris at Super Duper 8 are so much fun to work with as videographers. They work in a slightly different way to other videographers as they use super 8. As with everyone I’ve recommended though we are on the same page with what we like to capture for our couples.

The Camera Chap Weddings

I worked with Martin from The Camera Chap Weddings a few years ago and it was so nice to work alongside someone with the same vision I had and someone who wants to capture what the couple want.
