Ella & Tom’s Super Smiley Sopley Mill Wedding
Last Friday was a day of absolute dreams!!! Ella & Tom had the most beautiful wedding at at Sopley Mill. From the moment I arrived to photograph Ella getting ready, I knew the day was going to be so much fun. Their getting ready room was filled with the best energy, so many laughs, massive smiles and just a real feel good atmosphere. It was so lovely having Tasha Parker there doing the make up who is also completely hilarious and just a good person to have on your team in the morning. The girls then took a VW camper and Beatle over to Sopley Mill, which those of you who know me know how much I love my vintage cars and these two were definitely up there as some of my all time favourites. The ceremony was then the perfect mix of funny and emotional moment with the pair both reading out there own vows which included the likes of ‘I promise to put up with your gangster music”, and “I promise to share my diet coke”. Just seeing these two stood up there together and seeing how perfect they are for each other did get me a little teary eyed and I know I wasn’t the only one. After the ceremony we dodged a few rain showers to get some photos with the awesome car and camper before heading in for some food. The speeches, just the same as the ceremony were so carefully thought out and were the perfect mix of funny and emotional. I also loved that Ella stood up to do not just a speech but an incredible speech!! Ella’s mum then pulled off the best surprise where she had planned for The Singing Waiters to come out after the meal. I had never seen the singing waiters before and wasn’t too sure what to expect but and can honestly say that I am massively impressed and they were so hilarious! The whole room was laughing and getting involved and it was so much fun to watch and photograph. You would think by that point the day couldn’t get any better but after the meal Ella & Tom had planned some lawn games outside, including a coconut shy and also an ice cream van for everyone to enjoy. The pair were then cheered on for their first dance before everyone piled on the dance floor. My favourite moment (well, one of many) was Ella with all her girls, throwing out the best dance moves to Beyonce. The whole day was incredible and I have to say a massive thank you to Along Came Anna for keeping everything on track, making sure everything looked gorgeous and ensuring everyone was having the best time. It’s so nice to take wedding photos at Sopley Mill, this venue is so cute with so many little nooks and lovely spots for photos. So happy this is now one of my local wedding venues and I’m hoping to be back here taking photos very soon.
